The Civil War and the safeguarding of artistic heritage is one of the main themes of the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya during this exhibition period in 2021.

We conceptualised and designed the “Guerra Civil. Art Conflicte i Memòria” campaign. The programme of exhibitions, activities and conferences aims to open a space for reflection, from multiple angles, on the consequences of war, the role of art and artists, as well as the destruction and protection of heritage in conflict situations.

The visual language, typography and colour in the graphic elements of the war propaganda have been the starting point for the development of the campaign identity, the website and the actions in social networks for the promotion of the programme.
